Saddle Ranch Chop House in Orange, CA will always have a special place in our hearts. From the start, this place made our experiences unforgettable. Early on in our relationship, we had a date there, and they surprised us with a complimentary s'mores kit to enjoy by their fire pit--a simple but incredibly thoughtful touch. Fast forward to last November, we decided to have some fun and take hilarious Christmas photos there, dressed as a cowboy and cowgirl on their famous mechanical bull. But that turned into something even more special--I decided it was the perfect place to propose to my girlfriend. The Saddle Ranch team went above and beyond to make it an incredible moment. Not only did they welcome the idea, but they also treated us with a $50 gift card, an extra appetizer, another s'mores kit, and even more amazing desserts, all on the house. Everything went smoothly, and most importantly--she said YES! They thanked us for choosing their restaurant for such a big moment, but the truth is, we want to thank THEM for making it so special. The staff, the atmosphere, and their generosity turned an already memorable night into something we'll cherish forever. My friend and I visited Saddle Ranch on a Monday afternoon for Happy Hour (30% off drinks and apps). The restaurant was pretty empty, so seating was quick. Our server, Heydi, went above and beyond by checking with the chef about potential cross-contamination with my dietary restrictions--amazing service and attention to detail! We ordered the Jalapeño Mac n' Cheese, "The Original" Tortilla Soup in a cup, and a Watermelon Fizz. The Mac n' Cheese was creamy and cheesy but could use a bit more salt. The Tortilla Soup was delicious, with avocado, cheese, and garlic toast on the side. We also got complimentary cornbread with honey-cinnamon butter and a giant cotton candy tower-- delicious! Overall, a delightful experience!
I've had this spot bookmarked for a while! I'm excited to finally get to try it. With all the great reviews, it has to be a good one right? I like the vibe of this place! It's casual and they had classic rock playing on the tv's. Love that! The booths are very comfortable. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Salad. It was very fresh. The salmon tasted good and was cooked well. I liked the strawberry and nuts. It was a lot of spinach though. A mountain of spinach is too much for me lol 9/10 The truffle Mac and cheese was okay. It was missing some salt. Tasted off for me. It was alright. Could have been better. 7/10 Hummus trio was very fresh. Each hummus in the trio was yummy. The carrots and celery were great! And the warm pita was delicious. 10/10 My husband got the ribeye. He enjoyed it, and ate every bite. He also liked the veggies and tots. 10/10 Service was fine. Our waitress did a good job.
My family and I had lunch at Saddle Ranch Chop House in Orange, California. We were impressed by the friendly greeting from Assistant General Manager Gerry Gonzalez and the outstanding service we received from Becky. Becky was friendly, attentive, and she went above and beyond to serve us. We look forward to coming back, and we will request Becky.
Huge portions, delicious food! It was super busy and the servers were slammed, but our server, Heydi, made us feel really well taken care of!
This review is for July 6 at 9:30pm. I totally forgot our servers name but she was soo cute and funny! My bf and i love coming here for dinner and drinks. We ordered the spinach and cheese dip which comes in a bread bowl. Soo delicious ! Main entrees we got the ribs deal with two sides it was enough food for us since we ordered an appetizer (: we also got a large cocktail to share the Arizona sunset which comes in this big glass cup! They're not cheap with their alcohol either. They also gave us a complimentary garlic edamame which was so different from the ones I've had but it was so good. It's always such a good time when we go! Reasonable price for great food!
